Richard Ortiz
Richard Ortiz kicked off his career as a sports reporter for the Madera Tribune covering both Boxing and MMA is the early 2000’s, then as a Cage and Ring announcer for local and the national Pro-Boxing & MMA world. In 2016, he founded The Fighter’s Voice covering post fight interviews on youtube where The Fighter’s Voice gained it popularity. in 2017,Ortiz landed The Fighter’s Voice on the radio waves on AM1680 The Answer in Fresno, CA where it added the addition of video stream and The Fighter’s Voice KickAss Podcast: Unedited and founded the “Thumbs Up 4 Richie Foundation”, a non-profit group to help teens and families fighting depression, domestic violence and drug addition prevention awareness.
In 2018, He partnered with Mad Productions in Fresno, CA and Sky Boulevard Marketing Inc to syndicate both The Fighter’s Voice Radio show , The Fighter’s Voice Kickass Podcast and establish the 1st annual “Thumbs Up 4 Richie Foundation” fundraiser event set to take place in the Fresno, CA in mid 2019.
Cole Escovedo
Cole Escovedo also known as “The Apache Kid” was is a retired Mix Martial Artist from Fresno, CA. He was the inaugural WEC Featherweight Champion, and a UFC Veteran. He was forced into semi retirement in 2007 from a serious staph infection that left him partially paralyzed and in need of spinal surgery. Through his fight with loosing his ability to walk, Escovedo release a book titled “Through The Cage Door” and become one of the original “Fighter’s Voice” which led him to join the Fighter’s Voice in 2018.
Now, as a co-host on The Fighter’s Voice, both Ortiz and Escovedo bring a level of entertainment, with a hint of kickass to the fight world with hilarious interviews and fight world buzz from actual people who have stepped into the ring and cage.
